Children's Hospice receives a Magic Space from Merlin's Magic Wand ANZ

After a twelve month labour of love, Merlin's Magic Wand ANZ completed their new Merlin's Magic Space, inspired by the Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary and is complete with marine-inspired graphics and underwater theming.

Working closely with the staff at Bear Cottage, the only children's hospice in New South Wales, to create a suitable bathroom space, the new area will give young patients and their families a break from the daily routine of doctors’ appointments and create a calming and visually-appealing area to enjoy.

The project was particularly special to Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary, as the attraction has had an ongoing partnership with Bear Cottage for the last ten years.

Bear Cottage Community Relations Manager, Bronwen Simmons said it is rewarding to see this project complete and have a new space for the families to enjoy.

“Our staff work day in day out to help our patients and their families by making them as comfortable as possible. This new space will help bring create a calming space for them to enjoy,”
