Warwick Castle Wins Prestigious West Midlands Tourist Award

Last night Warwick Castle was named Large Visitor Attraction of the Year at the West Midlands Tourist Awards. Popular with both domestic and international tourists, Warwick Castle proudly welcomes 750,000 visitors each year.

Home to an abundance of experiences, Warwick Castle has something for every family member. From experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of the 15th century in The Kingmaker, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, through to guests watching birds of prey swoop and soar in The Falconer’s Quest.

Heritage lovers can also witness the sheer power of Britain's largest working siege machine in The Legend of the Trebuchet. Plus, young adventurers won't want to miss Zog and the Quest for the Golden Star interactive activity trail, where they can learn what it takes to become a fully-fledged dragon.

“We are very proud to have won this award. We pride ourselves on creating the most authentic medieval experience at Warwick Castle, so it’s great to receive an award that recognises the memorable guest experience we offer. With a jam-packed summer coming up, including the launch of our all-new medieval-inspired Warwick Castle Hotel, we cannot wait to welcome more families and heritage lovers through our portcullis!”
