Madame Tussauds Dubai organised a magical day out for children from the Dubai Autism Centre. The children visited Madame Tussauds Dubai for a special, private experience giving each one a chance to experience the many fun and immersive interactives and be enchanted by the world’s most celebrated stories. The children had time to fully explore and take a turn to try out these experiences with the attraction team on hand to assist.
This magical outing presented an opportunity for the children to communicate and learn in a relaxed and fun environment. Dancing at the Bollywood Zone, playing the drums at the party dance floor, perfecting their modelling skills at fashion catwalk, practicing a penalty kick with Lionel Messi, and making a speech at the UN podium in front of wax figures of some of the world’s greatest leaders were a few of the immersive experiences enjoyed by the children.
“We extend our thanks and appreciation to the Madame Tussauds Dubai team for their keenness to welcome the children of Dubai Autism Centre, providing them with a new experience of fun and social interactions within appropriate environments for people with autism to enable them to integrate into society.”
Joyce Chamoun, Business Development Manager at the Dubai Autism CentreAfter completing their visit and in recognition of not only their visit, but also their enthusiastic participation, the children were handed certificates to celebrate their engagement. The certificates were handed out by Sanaz Kollsrud, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Dubai.
“It was an honour to host such a magical day out for Dubai Autism Center and create long-lasting memories. We were humbled to see that the experience was more than fun, but also challenged the children to do more in a relaxed environment tailor-made to their needs.”
