No face mask? You’re having a giraffe!

Legoland Discovery Centre enlists help of giant 6m giraffe to remind of the importance of wearing a face mask!

A huge 6m high giraffe model made from over 30,000 Lego bricks is sporting a large 40cm wide face mask in an appeal to remind members of the public to do the same.

The giraffe, named Gerry, is located outside the entrance to Legoland Discovery Centre at Arena Birmingham.

“We’re all about making things fun and of course we also take health and safety very seriously. With the continuation of enhanced safety procedures in the post-covid world, we are reminding everyone to stay safe and wear a face mask when visiting. So in true Legoland Discovery Centre style, we’re hoping to engage people with the message of wearing a face mask in a fun way that’s engaging for kids too!"
