The London Eye lights up in support of 'Clap for our Carers' in UK

The iconic London attraction will light up blue at 8pm tonight, in support of the NHS

The UK’s most popular paid-for attraction, the London Eye, will be supporting the nationwide movement ‘Clap For Our Carers’ as it lights up the capital in a bold NHS blue this evening, from 8pm.

The landmark attraction is proud to stand tall as part of the London skyline as it supports all the NHS staff working hard to help those affected by Covid-19.

People throughout the nation can show their love and support for the ‘Clap For Our Carers’ campaign by giving their biggest applause and cheer from their windows, gardens, front doors or balconies from 8pm tonight.

"Words cannot describe how thankful we are for all the bravery and hard work that our healthcare workers are displaying during this unprecedented time. It couldn’t be a more important time for us to all join together and show our appreciation and solidarity with those on the frontline. We’re proud to show our support as we light up the London Eye, and the city skyline, in a bold NHS blue”
