8 year old ninja inspects new LEGO® NINJAGO® World

World’s youngest black belt lends a hand at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort’s newest attraction

Master Jake Frood is just eight years old and the world’s youngest black belt in kickboxing and karate. This also made him the world’s best person to become the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort’s official ‘mini ninja’ and perform quality control of its brand-new LEGO® NINJAGO® WORLD.

Master Jake gave the brand new land his personal seal of approval after ninja chopping and spinning LEGO® bricks into place and getting up close and personal with the LEGO NINJAGO dragons as they arrived for installation.

Jake received his 1st Degree Black Belt when he was just five and his 2nd Degree Black Belt a year later. He then won his 3rd Degree Black Belt, along with his official ‘Master’ title, when he was eight, making him the youngest Master in the world! He said: “It was awesome to be invited to LEGO NINJAGO World and see all the models. I’m a huge NINJAGO fan and all my friends are super-jealous. Hopefully my skills will help me get a good score when I take my turn on the ride!”

LEGO® NINJAGO® WORLD opens at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort on 26 May 2017. It takes guests through NINJAGO character activities to test balance, agility, creativity and speed. The new world also features the highly anticipated ‘LEGO NINJAGO The Ride’ – the first in the UK to use state-of-the-art hand gesture technology with 4D effects, plus a whopping 1.5 million LEGO® bricks – enough to reach the top of Mount Everest! Thank you Master Jake for all your help – and see you there!
